Sahur Augsteen is an educator and lifelong learner dedicated to providing access to high-quality education for all children. As a child who struggled with learning to read herself, she discovered her passion for literacy and working with students who struggle with reading, especially English Language Learners. She is a graduate of the University of Texas at Austin and is currently working on her Masters in Urban Educational Leadership at Southern Methodist University. In addition, she serves as Campus Instructional Coach in Dallas ISD helping support teachers and empowers them with research-based strategies to reach all students on a campus with a high refugee population.
