Geoffrey: After earning my Ph.D., I turned down a tenure track position at a Midwest University to take a position at an international school in Rio de Janeiro. Since that life-changing decision, I have been a career expat by teaching and travelling around the world. Considering travel essential “research” for good writing, I have been to over thirty countries with my wife, Jennifer. My publications include works of fiction, magazine articles, and academic texts. Jennifer: Having the opportunity to be an exchange student in high school set me on a journey that continues until today. I am a traveler who records experiences through journaling, photography, and painting. After earning my M.A. in Expressive Arts Therapy with a focus on Art Therapy, I worked in psychiatric hospitals and later became certified to teach art. I have since been teaching art for 23 years internationally and have taught from early years to grade 12 and the International Baccalaureate.
