Tasha Austin is the NJTESOL/ NJBE Teacher Education SIG Representative. She is the author of a bilingual children’s book entitled “El Barrio Mío/My Neighborhood,” a consultant, a Lecturer in Language Education and Urban Education at the Rutgers Graduate School of Education, and a doctoral student.
