The American School of Douala (ASD) is located in the residential suburb of Bonapriso, about ten minutes from Douala’s international airport and the city center.

The school campus consists of a four story building with a grass sports field, running track and modern playground. The school facilities include: a science lab, computer lab, library, gymnasium, swimming pool, indoor play/multipurpose area and a 300-seat auditorium.

ASD’s school board consists of nine members elected from the parent community, plus the U. S. consul and the school’s Director.
