Studying Your Notes: How to Write a Summary and Reflection

Are you trying to figure out how to study your notes? In this video, I will teach you two highly underrated study techniques. I show you the process, give examples and tell you the common mistakes to avoid. These can be used for any note taking method and in the video I will show you both Cornell and outline notes.

When you write a summary, you want to answer the question: What is important? When you write a reflection, you want to answer the question: How can I use this information? After watching this video, you will be able to write a summary and reflection for any subject when studying your notes. For the past seven years, I have taught at a Charter school in San Diego that serves a 60% refugee and immigrant population.
