Two international educators with over four decades overseas, Nick De Forest and Matt Fleming, recently launched a new podcast for international school sports, Globetrottin’ ADs, and also facilitated and organized a Summer Conference Series online professional development with a variety of different teachers, administrators, and directors as both presenters and attendees. In an interview with SchoolRubric’s Wallace Ting, Nick and Matt share information related to their podcast, the role of an athletic director in international education, and their upcoming professional development later this month. Globetrottin' ADs
The Globetrottin' ADs is a global community of international school athletic directors, activity coordinators, coaches, teachers and friends. The podcast and website is hosted by Matt Fleming, AIS Budapest and Nick DeForest, AIS Vienna. The podcast was started in January of 2020, when the coronavirus was not even a blip on the radar, but expanded into online conferences and resources which brings community members from around the globe together to share, learn and grow.
